Enterprise Asset Management System (2013 – Present)
South Frontenac is a township located just north of Kingston in Eastern Ontario in Frontenac County. It was amalgamated in 1998 from the former townships of Bedford, Loughborough, Portland, and Storrington. With a current population of 18 100 distributed across 9 main villages and hamlets as well as the rural countryside, South Frontenac is a vibrant community staged to grow.
The Township of South Frontenac contracted AGL to implement the Cartegraph System for Asset Managment, TCA Asset Management, and Capital Planning in 2013.
Within the first six months, all of South Frontenac’s data had been migrated, the system was configured to their specifications, and they were generating Capital Plans for Roads, Bridges, and Sidewalks to use for budgeting.
In early 2014, South Frontenac easily produced their required PSAB reporting directly from the Cartegraph System which has now been integrated to their Great Plains Financials to assure all costs recorded against assets are of the highest accuracy.
